September Monthly Meeting and Events

Resume Book (Deadline to submit: Tuesday, September 20th)

  • ITE is building a Resume Book which will be given to the transportation professionals visiting during the ITE monthly meetings.

  • To add your resume to the book, send your one to two page resume to Abhilasha Saroj, Vice-President of Outreach, by September 20.

GT/Clemson Tailgate (Thursday, September 22nd at 5 PM – 7 PM in the courtyard between Mason and SEB)

  • Join ITE and ASHE student and Georgia chapters for a tailgate before the Georgia Tech/Clemson football game! The tailgate will be in the SEB courtyard beginning late afternoon. There will be free food at the tailgate! Even if you aren’t coming to the game, join us for socializing and networking beforehand!

Thursday, September 29th – ITE Monthly Meeting – Career Search and Scholarship Application Workshop (at 11 AM in Mason 1133)

  • Get career search/networking tips and hear advice for applying to scholarship – specifically the GAITE scholarship – and fellowships.

  • Dr. Lisa Rosenstein, Engineering Communications Senior Academic Professional, and others will be giving helpful advice ahead of October’s Transportation Career Fair and ITE Student Scholarships (applications available in October and due in early November).

  • Free lunch will be provided at the meeting!

ITE Intramural Sports (Deadline to register: October 3rd)

  • Did you dream of going pro, but settle for engineering instead? Then sign up for ITE Intramurals!

  • Phase II of Intramural Sports will consist of: Outdoor Soccer, Indoor Volleyball, Bowling, and Dodgeball.

  • We are gauging interest in what sports people are interested in. Please fill out the following interest form by Thursday, September 29th: Feel free to share with Georgia Tech friends outside of ITE or civil engineering!
