Last week, during the first week of school, ITE@GT had its kick-off meeting here on campus. New students just arrived, and ITE@GT introduced them to what ITE is all about and how they can get involved. We ran elections to fill the four remaining officer positions. After voting, James Wong is the secretary, Margaret Carragher is the service chair, Phillip Cherry is the intramural chair, and Gregory Macfarlane is the webmaster.
We have an exciting year ahead with a wide array of social and service events, industry professionals visiting campus to tell us about the work they are doing, the Transportation Research Board’s annual meeting, traffic bowl, and intramural teams. Contact one of our officers to join!
